About
Charnamrit Sachdeva is a renowned and award winning journalist from India by both passion and profession. She has an extensive experience of over 14 years and is primarily working for international media. She has served for Indian media organisations such as NewsX, NDTV, India News, etc. for a span of eight years before venturing into international press.
After completing her graduation in BA Hons (Political Science) from Delhi University, she continued to pursue her Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication. Charnamrit Sachdeva was awarded with Indian Women Achievers Awards in 2019 in the Media category. Over the past decade, she has directed and produced documentaries, commercial films and edited news reports for clients spanning India, UK, USA, Dubai and Cyprus.
She is also the co-founder of EK BADLAAV, NGO catering to different needs such as education, health, human rights etc of the underprivileged kids belonging to marginalized communities.

After covering lifestyle, national news and entertainment for about eight years in Indian media, Charnamrit switched to a British press agency in November 2015 and covered India extensively for the UK audience. She has her credits in brands such as The Daily Mail, The Daily Mirror, Metro, Grazia, Marie Claire, The Sun, The Telegraph to name a few. As a journalist, Charnamrit has a
huge experience from the field in multicultural environments, and from high pressure live-studio broadcasts. Her expertise lies in securing stories in tough environments, accessing unreachable contacts and delivering an unbiased narrative to the audience and reaching stories before anyone else. She has several EXCLUSIVE stories under her name and has been the first one to reach areas and cover ground reports before anyone else.

Charnamrit is also a documentary filmmaker and has worked as a Producer, Director, Executive Producer, Associate Producer for various non-fiction films.
Apart from working from the front-line during crucial times in conflict zones like Kashmir, the world’s most militarized zone as an investigative journalist, she has also covered pivotal events including rise of religious extremism, riots and protests in India and earthquakes in Nepal. Covering the diversity spread across the globe, Charnamrit has also made health documentaries featuring rare disorders around the world. Some of the documentaries have also been broadcasted by brands such as Discovery, iTV, BBC, TLC and Channel 5 in the United Kingdom.
Commercial Films
Charnamrit has an incredible vision of putting creative ideas into motion for a screen. She has worked as a Producer and Executive Producer for various production houses across India for making commercial films. Her experience of working across different genres of films gives her an in-depth understanding of the various nuances of the production process. She has been associated with some brands like Max Health Insurance, NIIT, Agewell, Greenpanel, Hero - Asli Hero Campaign, Sarvodya Hospital, JK Paper etc. She has also worked with one of the most renowned names of Bollywood, Salim-Sulaiman and was the Executive Producer on their song Ajab Shaan released in July 2022. With years spent in some of the best and creative filmmaking environments,
